Growing Your Skills in Assessment

The questions listed below are some that teachers have asked in Bay District as they begin to outline professional growth goals in assessment. They represent some common struggles teachers face in their daily work. In setting growth goals, teachers may want to start with one question to explore in depth individually, with a peer, or larger group of colleagues. Each question leads to multiple resources to help teachers in examining their practice relative to the question. Resources include short informational sections with references, links and some PDF files that provide examples from classroom practice.
