About the Database
The ELO database is being designed to provide information on a variety of research about ELO
programs and initiatives. The information included in this database will be generated from research syntheses on
after-school evaluations, after-school and school readiness student outcomes, and tutoring conducted by SERVE.
Each profile will contain an overview of the program or initiative that was evaluated, as well as a more detailed
annotated bibliography about each evaluation report produced about that program. Electronic links to actual evaluation
reports, where available, will also be provided. The profiles will be searchable on several key criteria in each of
these broad categories. The search mechanism will allow users to refine their scan of the profiles to specific program
and evaluation characteristics and findings information. New profiles will be added and existing profiles will be
updated quarterly. |
