TEACHERS AS RESEARCHERS

Improving classroom teaching and building a craft-knowledge base ultimately drives school improvement. Teacher or action research involves identifying a problem, learning what others have done to address the problem, devising and implementing relevant strategies, collecting and analyzing data, and sharing findings with colleagues. SERVE is developing processes, tools, and resources designed to train, engage, and support teachers in becoming reflective practitioners by developing teacher researchers.
