SBR in NCLB

When the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) was reauthorized in 2001 as the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), the law established accountability for results and strongly emphasized the need for states, districts, and schools to use evidence-based educational products and practices. The Act included language describing and defining the term "Scientifically-Based Research" or SBR as the most reliable research design for establishing evidence.
