SERVE's Policy and Legislation topic area is intended to inform policymakers by providing nonpartisan policy work, policy research, and expertise on national, regional, and state education issues and legislation.

SERVE policy analysts promote a better understanding of the role of policy in public education and the need to improve the academic quality of public schools through sound policy research analysis. We do not represent any special interests, but instead try to help policymakers understand the myriad of differing opinions and perceptions about public education and create conditions that will support a high-quality education for every child.
