SERVE Southern States Seminar

SERVE's Reading and School Improvement (RSI) program sponsors the annual Southern States Seminar, a forum for selected representatives from the departments of education in the SERVE states.

The seminar provides policy makers with research, practical guidance on implementation issues, and an opportunity to share information on school improvement initiatives in the southeastern United States.

The 2005 Seminar was held January 13-14 at the Marriott Executive Park in Charlotte, NC.

In response to a request from the states, SERVE's Southern States Seminar Clearinghouse on School Improvement has been created to provide resources to the states.
