Science FEAT was a 3-year teacher enhancement program for middle school teachers of science, based at the Florida State University and supported by the National Science Foundation. 65 middle school teachers from North Florida and South Georgia completed the program. Science FEAT received the 1995 Innovation in Teaching Science Teachers Award from the Association for the Education of Teachers in Science (AETS) and was recognized by the Florida Postsecondary Education Planning Commission as an exemplary initiative program in math, science, and technology-related education.
