Across the Region

The SERVE Center has successfully managed the U.S. Department of Education’s Southeast Regional Educational Laboratory (REL-SE) for nearly two decades. We offer immediate services to State and Local Education Agencies through state liaisons in all six states; most are housed in the State Department of Education in the state they serve.

The SERVE Center is the home of the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Homeless Education, which provides research, resources, and information enabling communities to address the educational needs of children experiencing homelessness.

Additionally, the SERVE center has a wide range of projects and programs working to improve and advance education.
