| Needs Assessment Asian and Pacific Islander Youth Homelessness in West Contra Costa County: A Needs Assessment In April 2006, the Southeast Asian Youth and Family Alliance (SAYFA) was asked to conduct a needs assessment to identify issues related to Asian and Pacific Islander homeless youth in West Contra Costa County. West County is the poorest and most ethnically diverse area of Contra Costa County and one of the "neediest" in the San Francisco Bay Area. This needs assessment reports the results of SAYFA's investigation and details their recommendations and could be used as a model for developing needs assessments in other communities.Iowa Identification and Needs Assessment Form This form may be used by schools to record pertinent information regarding children and youth identified as living in homeless situations. The form is useful in obtaining a cumulative count of the number of students identified, determining individual needs, maintaining student-level data, and generating summary reports of demographic data, characteristics, and needs of homeless children and youth. |
